This is an older article, but nobody comes to my site for news hehe. It’s an interesting article by someone who seems to know the difference between observational and clinical studies, about a topic I care a lot about: coffee.
Um, I just passed 50 reviews on Amazon…
About 3 hrs ago, I passed 50 reviews on Amazon. I’m absolutely staggered by this. What possesses otherwise sensible people to pick up my book, read it, and then tie their name to it publicly? Who knows what government watch lists you people are on now!
To all of you who’ve read my first novel: you have no idea how incredible it makes me feel. The fact that so many of you seem to have enjoyed it is even more incredible.
Thanks

Greek Fire and Other Burning Tales
I thought this was an interesting way to review an anthology, though it probably isn’t “unusual.”
Disclaimer: I’m neither endorsing nor outdorsing this 35 page collection of flash fiction. I’m simply highlighting an interesting review 🙂

Free promo update: #39 in top 100 Free, #1 Paranormal and Urban, #1 Dark Fantasy
Despite not doing any advance placement with the various free promo sites out there, my free promo was wildly successful. One of the reasons was that Pixel of Ink picked me up, as did onehundredfreebooks.com and a few other sites — without my asking them. Very nice of them, big help. I also got a lot of support from folks on Facebook and Twitter, so big thanks to everyone there.
The promo expires tomorrow morning sometime around 4am. Hopefully “Kick” can maintain steam until then.
Here’s a quick snapshot of where it’s at now:
